4 Bedroom House in South Congress, Austin

4 bedroom / 2 bath house for short term rentals and rooms available for longer term rentals. King bed in master + en suite bathroom. Queen beds in all 3 other bedrooms with shared hall bath .
My place is walkable to South Congress shops, restaurants, hotels and music venues. Minutes away from downtown. Bus stop 1 block from door. 10 min drive from airport. 1 block from Saint Edwards University. You’ll love my place because of the location and comfort. Clean, calm and spacious. Quiet, friendly neighborhood.
Good for professional groups, adventurers, business travelers, families & friends. It's laid out to live in. The house is about 2100 sq ft with a big fenced in yard, gardens and a small gym / yoga room out back. Nicely appointed but not too precious. Bedrooms are private and quiet. Common spaces are open to each other and great for shared meals, games and conversation.
You are welcome to the whole house, the patio, living room, dining room and kitchen. Again, see description. If renting the whole house all rooms are available. If renting a room, the master bed & bath are not part of rental access.
I will do my best to be available to you for tips and suggestions about Austin. It's a great city. Excited to share it with you!
Be sure to bring supplies like bug spray and sunscreen when you come in the summer.
Winters are mild but it can get surprisingly cold on occasion. Layer up.
This tiny neighborhood is called St. Ed's because of the university down the road. It is really special, small, central and sort of unknown. You'll love it. A favorite insider's Mexican restaurant is a block away with best margarita's in town. There is a park for runs and a pool for lap swimming in the mornings within walking distance.
Close enough to South Congress to walk. Bus lines, public bikes, electric bike rentals and smart cars are all easy access. I have a fenced in yard where rental bikes can be stored.

Summary: We loved the cozy feel of this beautifully decorated little gem of a home with a super cool vibe tucked away on a quiet street in the St Edwards neighborhood. We were there for the F1 race at COTA and the location was very convenient for getting on/off all the major thoroughfares and our average drive time to the track was approx 20 mins. Very convenient to downtown Austin to the north just across the Colorado River. Homeowner/property manager is a delight and was very helpful in ensuring our stay was more than excellent.
